Let’s face it: 99% of all music videos are bad. But within that 99% is a small group of unintentionally funny music videos that deserve some recognition.
Bad? Of course.
There’s only one way to describe these kings of mediocrity — they are…the top five best-worst music videos of all time.
5. Guns N’ Roses, “Estranged”
This video was supposed to be a high-concept conclusion to “Don’t Cry” and “November Rain” but ran into issues when Axl Rose broke up with his then-girlfriend Stephanie Seymour, who was the love interest in both videos.
So she was replaced by dolphins. I’m assuming Axl had sex with the one at the end.
4. 50 Cent, “Shooting Guns”
Full disclosure: Every 50 Cent video is intentionally funny. This one just happens to be particularly offensive to Asian people.
Let’s call this the best of 50’s worst and move on.
3. Journey, “Separate Ways (Worlds Apart)”
Why doesn’t Steve Perry get an instrument that magically appears and disappears? Because that would just be f***in’ weird.
